Dog Meetup is operational
The website and account service are available. The service restoration was verified on 6 July 2026.
Service restoration notice
Some users reported that Dog Meetup was unavailable before 6 July 2026. The available server, application, database, and reverse-proxy records were reviewed during recovery. The database passed its integrity check, and the available seven-day web logs did not contain Dog Meetup HTTP 5xx responses.
The current review found no evidence of unauthorised account access or loss of personal data. A service interruption is not, by itself, evidence of a personal-data breach. Dog Meetup will reassess this conclusion and follow applicable notification duties if new evidence identifies a risk to users.
What account holders should do
- Open Dog Meetup again and sign in if your previous session has expired.
- Use account access help if the app still reports that it is offline.
- Change your password and contact support if you notice activity that you do not recognise.
- Do not send passwords, verification codes, or full identity documents by email.
Reliability and security work
- Automatic service startup after server or Docker restarts.
- Health checks with automatic recovery and recorded outcomes.
- Daily integrity-checked, encrypted database backups with retention controls.
- Restricted container privileges, local-only API exposure, request limits, and TLS-only public traffic.
