Request deletion of Dog Meetup data

Steps to request data deletion

  1. Enter the email address used for your Dog Meetup account.
  2. Select whether you want selected app data deleted or the whole account deleted.
  3. Describe the data you want removed, such as dog profiles, messages, meetup history, selected park data, reports, or blocks.
  4. Submit the request and keep the reference number shown on screen.

Deleted data can include account details, dog profiles, selected park information, likes, passes, conversations, messages, meetup requests, reports, blocks, notices, notification preferences, location requests, and support records that are no longer needed.

Dog Meetup may keep closed deletion-request records and minimised audit logs for an operational target of up to 24 months, encrypted database backups for up to 30 days, and reports or safety/legal records only while a documented safety, legal, fraud-prevention, or legal-claim need applies. Anonymous information may be kept when it no longer identifies a person.

Valid requests are normally answered within one month. A lawful extension for a complex request will be explained within that first month. For full account deletion, you can also use the dedicated Dog Meetup account deletion page.
