Request account deletion or data deletion

Dog Meetup is operated by Niall. This public page lets Dog Meetup users request deletion of their account and associated app data without needing to sign in to the app.

Delete your account

Enter the email address used for your Dog Meetup account in the form below.
Submit the request and keep the reference number shown on screen.
Dog Meetup will verify ownership if needed, then delete the account and associated data.

You can also delete a signed-in account from the app under Settings.

Delete app data only

Enter the account email below.
Use the note box to say which Dog Meetup data you want deleted, for example dog profile, messages, meetup history, or location/park data.
Dog Meetup will confirm what can be deleted while keeping the account active.

Data deleted when an account is deleted

Dog Meetup deletes personal account data linked to the account, including:

email address, username, password hash, profile text, and account settings
dog profiles, dog photos or profile details stored by the service, personality tags, and selected park information
likes, passes, matches, meetup requests, event participation, chats, blocks, and saved contacts linked to the account
support records that are no longer needed after the deletion request is completed

Data that may be kept for a limited period

Some records may be retained where necessary for safety, security, legal compliance, fraud prevention, or dispute handling:

deletion request records and minimal audit logs may be kept for up to 24 months
server security logs and encrypted backups are rotated or deleted within 90 days where technically practical
reports, moderation records, safety incidents, and legal requests may be kept for as long as needed to protect users, comply with law, or defend legal claims
anonymous or aggregated analytics that no longer identify a person may be kept
