Necessary storage, optional analytics.
Last updated 13 July 2026. Dog Meetup does not use advertising cookies or behavioural advertising trackers.
Strictly necessary web storage
Dog Meetup does not store browser bearer tokens in local storage.
Preference storage
Browser local storage may remember interface mode, accessibility preferences, and your cookie choice. These values do not contain your password. You can remove them using the website preference controls or your browser's site-data controls. Removing them resets the related preference.
Optional analytics
Google Analytics is loaded only when a measurement ID is configured and you actively enable optional analytics. It may process page views, interaction events, approximate technical context, and performance information to help identify broken pages and understand which public content is useful. IP anonymisation is requested in the current integration. It is not used for advertising or cross-service ad targeting.
You can refuse analytics without losing account or website functionality. You can withdraw the choice through the cookie preference control; clearing site data also removes the saved preference. Withdrawal stops future collection but does not make earlier lawful processing unlawful.
Website location and maps
The website does not request browser location and does not load Google Maps. Website users search and choose a Republic of Ireland park manually. The iOS app has separate, optional device-location permission described in the Privacy Policy.
iOS secure storage
The iOS app is not a website and does not use browser cookies for its native session. It stores its session credential and selected app preferences through the operating system's secure-storage interface. Signing out or deleting the account removes the app session credential from the device. Apple may process platform information under Apple's own privacy notice.
