Dog Meetup Moderation Policy
Last updated: 13 July 2026. Contact: dev@prints3d.org.
Moderation approach
Dog Meetup is a social meetup service for adult dog owners. We moderate to reduce harassment, abuse, fraud, unsafe meetups, illegal content, child safety risks, and content that could harm people or dogs.
User controls
- Users can report owners, profiles, messages, meetups, and unsafe behaviour through in-app report controls.
- Users can block other owners to stop contact and hide them from discovery, message, or meetup flows.
- Blocking an abusive user also creates a moderation signal so Dog Meetup can review the underlying issue.
- Users can email serious safety concerns to dev@prints3d.org.
Review and enforcement
Reports are reviewed by authorised Dog Meetup personnel using the reported content, context, account history, blocks, related reports, and applicable law. Dog Meetup's operational target is to review objectionable-content reports within 24 hours. Depending on severity, Dog Meetup may take no action, warn a user, remove content, restrict messaging, remove meetups, suspend an account, terminate an account, preserve records where legally required, or report serious matters to appropriate authorities.
Prohibited content and conduct
Dog Meetup prohibits illegal content, child sexual abuse or exploitation, sexual solicitation, hate, harassment, threats, bullying, scams, impersonation, animal cruelty, dangerous advice, spam, and behaviour that makes public meetups unsafe.
Illegal-content notices
Anyone can email dev@prints3d.org with the subject “Illegal content notice”. Include the content or account identifier, where it appears, why it may be illegal, the country and legal basis if known, and a contact address for the outcome. Do not submit unlawful material itself where a description or safe reference is enough. Dog Meetup will assess sufficiently precise notices carefully, impartially, and in a timely manner.
Reasons and appeals
A person affected by content removal or account restriction may ask for human review by emailing dev@prints3d.org. Where appropriate and lawful, Dog Meetup provides the restriction, the rule or legal ground relied on, whether automated tools contributed, and the available review route. Information may be limited where disclosure would endanger a person, compromise an investigation, reveal another person's data, or breach law.
