Dog Meetup Child Safety Standards
Last updated: 13 July 2026. Contact: dev@prints3d.org.
Zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation
Dog Meetup does not allow child sexual abuse material, grooming, sextortion, trafficking, sexual exploitation of minors, or any content or behaviour that endangers children.
Dog Meetup is designed for adult dog owners arranging public dog-park meetups. Any suspected child sexual abuse or exploitation activity is prohibited and may result in content removal, account suspension, account deletion, preservation of relevant records where legally required, and reports to appropriate authorities.
How users can report concerns in the app
- Use the in-app report controls on dog owner profiles, matches, meetups, or messages.
- Use the in-app block controls to stop contact from another owner.
- Email urgent child safety concerns to dev@prints3d.org with the subject “Dog Meetup child safety report”.
Immediate danger and illegal online material
If a child may be in immediate danger, contact An Garda Síochána or emergency services on 112 or 999. Suspected online child sexual abuse material encountered in Ireland can also be reported confidentially or anonymously through Hotline.ie. Do not download, forward, or copy suspected illegal material in order to report it.
How Dog Meetup responds
- Review reports and take appropriate action under these standards and applicable law.
- Remove or disable access to prohibited content and restrict relevant accounts when Dog Meetup becomes aware of child sexual abuse material or child-exploitation activity.
- Preserve or provide information when legally required by competent authorities.
- Keep safety records only as long as needed for user protection, legal compliance, fraud prevention, or dispute handling.
Staff handling
Child-safety reports are restricted to authorised personnel, prioritised over routine moderation, and recorded. Staff must not redistribute suspected material, conduct their own unlawful investigation, or alert a suspected offender in a way that creates risk or compromises lawful action.
